Incentives & Rebates

Thanks to federal, state, and utility incentives and rebates, there has never been a more affordable time to install solar!

Starting just this past January, the federal government offers a tax incentive of 30% of your total solar energy system cost, a huge increase compared to previous years. For a midsize residential system, this translates to a savings of between $12,000 and $17,000!

The Arizona government also offers solar customers a tax credit further reducing your out-of-pocket cost. For homeowners the state offers a 10% incentive capped at $1,000. For business owners this 10% incentive is capped at $25,000! In addition, all solar energy systems are Arizona sales tax exempt.

The electricity utility companies are now offering very generous rebates as well. For every Watt of solar energy you install, the utility will pay up to $3.00. For a midsize residential system we are talking about a savings of between $15,000 and $20,000, and this price comes right off the top of the total system cost!

There are additional savings for business owners including a 30% cash grant instead of the federal tax incentive as well as accelerated depreciation and bonus depreciation benefits that bring the time of payback down significantly.

These incentives and rebates are available today but will not be around forever, so take advantage of them right away to get incredible savings on your solar electric system!
